Gucci

The concept is the surreal intersection of two “SUPER“ science and architecture projects: SUPER-KAMIOKANDE and SUPERSTUDIO. The story takes place among these technomorphic interventions. The scenery suggests a post-solar apocalypse. We see humans have become totally digital beings surviving in an artificial nature built from the remnants of GUCCI.

SUPERSTUDIO: Superstudio was an architecture firm, founded in 1966 in Florence, Italy. Superstudio was a major part of the Radical architecture and design movement of the late 1960s. The founders had gone to school at the University of Florence with Archizoom Associati founder Andrea Branzi and first showed their work in the Superarchitettura show in 1966. This exhibition became the manifesto of the Radical Design movement.

In 1967, Natalini established three categories of future research: “architecture of the monument”, “architecture of the image”, and “technomorphic architecture”.

SUPER-KAMIOKANDE: Super-Kamioka Neutrino Detection Experiment: is a neutrino observatory located under Mount Ikeno near the city of Hida, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. It is located 1,000 m (3,300 ft) underground. The observatory was designed to detect high-energy neutrinos to search for proton decay, study solar and atmospheric neutrinos, and keep watch for supernovae in the Milky Way Galaxy.
